Candidates to Speak Clearly about
Convictions
Candidates for public office must be
transparent with the public about their beliefs.

16:18
18 One of the young men answered, I have seen a
son of Jesse of Bethlehem who knows how to play [the harp]. He is also a valiant man, a warrior, eloquent,
handsome, and the Lord is with him.

21 Anyone with a wise heart is called discerning, and pleasant
speech increases learning. 23 A

Preparation
- Praise God for who He is
- Confess your sinfulness and need for cleansing
- Allow His Spirit to draw you near
- Listen as He speaks to you

planning to do if elected
- Give you insight to discern who are the most
trustworthy candidates
- Cause candidates who are not trustworthy to be
defeated
- Lead church leaders to hold issue education
events at their churches
- Help you share with others the importance of
voting for people based on the issues rather than party or personal
interest
- Convince candidates that His values are the
best for people to live by
- Cause the media to give fair coverage to
candidates who hold biblical values and positions
